|Mount Aloysius and WISE Women Team Up for Empowerment||10/23/2012|
Cresson, Pa. - The WISE Women of Blair County is the successor organization to the YWCA of Altoona. The organization completed a transition in 2008 to better identify local area needs and advance women within our region. While the WISE Women organization is no longer part of the YWCA, they wish to maintain many of the great traditions that were started by our local chapter. WISE Women of Blair County Board Members include: Shamim Rajpar, president; Lisa Merschiltz, vice-president; Florence Shuss, secretary; Diane Osgood, treasurer; Shelia Clowes; Barbara Cook, Ph.D.; Virginia Day; Lee Ann DeReus; Debbie Garritano; Harriett Gaston; Donna Gority; Michelle Krebs; Dee Martin-Spallone; Margaret McMinn and Micky Port.
