PITTSBURGH--Mount Aloysius senior Jeff Stem was named the AMCC Player of the Week for men's basketball.

Stem scored 29 points and grabbed a career-high 8 boards in the Mounties 78-67 road win over Pitt-Greensburg. He followed this performance with another 23 points and 5 rebounds in a 76-52 downing of defending conference champion Medaille College. In addition, Stem shot 47% from beyond the arc, and averaged 2.5 assists and 4.0 steals for the week.

Stem is leading the AMCC in scoring with 19.4 ppg and ranks second in three-pointers made with a 2.8 per game average.

Mount Aloysius is currently 4-1 and off to one of its best starts in school history.
