Mount Aloysius Admissions Sponsors MLK “Day On” 01/17/2013

Cresson, Pa. – Mount Aloysius College invites future students and parents to a “day on” the beautiful Cresson campus as the nation commemorates Martin Luther King Day, Monday, January 21st. Mount Aloysius admissions counselors are busy scheduling appointments for 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Lunch will be provided.

College officials note that a “Day On” rather than a “Day Off” is consistent with Dr. King’s activist approach to the civil rights challenges of his day.

“This will be a great opportunity to see Mount Aloysius College in action,” said Mr. Frank Crouse, vice president for enrollment management at the College. “Students are in session and future students can get a real appreciation for the special dynamics of Mount Aloysius’ campus.”

Mount Aloysius College is becoming recognized as one of the most affordable private colleges in the east. The Martin Luther King “Day On” will be an opportunity to discuss career choices, majors, financial aid and scholarships. Tours will be conducted by current students who will be happy to answer questions about their experience as a Mount Aloysius student.
