PITTSBURGH - Mount Aloysius sophomore Derek Capiak was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference's Pitcher of the Week.
 
Capiak led the Mounties to a 1-0 week, throwing a complete-game shutout against Penn State-Harrisburg.  He allowed only 2 hits, while registering 10 strikeouts in that contest.
 
Capiak currently leads the conference in batters struck out (26) and batters struck out looking (9). He is also currently ranked second for games started (4).
