|Mount Aloysius and Altoona Curve Celebrate Bo Forney at Season Opener||04/4/2013|
Cresson, Pa. - Mount Aloysius College and The Altoona Curve will celebrate the life of a very special person who brought much joy to both organizations. The late Bo Forney, a sophomore at Mount Aloysius College and the omnipresent Bat-Boy for the Altoona Curve baseball team, passed away too soon. The remarkable young man left behind scores of regional fans who want to celebrate his special life and his contributions to Mount Aloysius College and the Curve baseball organization.
On Thursday, April 11, 2013 at The Curve Stadium – area fans will have their chance to celebrate BOpening Night starting at 6:30 p.m. Gates open at 5:30 p.m.
Organizers stress that tickets are only $6 and that $2 of every ticket sold will go towards the American Heart Association in Bo Forney’s memory. A check will be presented to the American Heart Association representatives on the field right before the opening pitch.
Curve personnel remind attendees that the first 5,000 fans will receive a 2013 schedule magnet. Right after the game, there will be fireworks and kids can come out onto the field to run the bases.
