The Human Resources Department was created in July 2000. The Department is staffed with a full-time Director of Human Resources and a full-time Human Resources Assistant. HR is responsible for the daily operation of the College's Human Resources Management Program, and includes employee Compensation and Benefits; Recruitment and Employment; Employee Relations and Recognition; Safety, Health and Wellness; New Employee Orientation and other related training; and Management Practices to include Human Resources policies and procedures. The HR Department also maintains the College's automated Human Resources Information System.
