General Studies Associate degreeGeneral Studies Associate degree
Program Overview
The General Studies curriculum begins with a broad core of instruction in the humanities, behavioral/social sciences, and natural sciences. The courses provide students with a well-rounded academic experience, which allows much flexibility in designing a personalized program.
Students in this major complete the core requirements with three options. They may design a curriculum to focus on preparation for a particular occupation or entrance into a baccalaureate program. They may design a program that develops the skills in math, science, and technology, or they can focus on the behavioral and social sciences. All students in this program must successfully complete, if required, the Educational Enrichment (EE) courses. Students not already enrolled in this degree program should contact the Department Chairperson for further information and approval of course of study.
