In general, a student would complete a bachelor's degree with at least half of the course work in disciplines other than the major. Some majors may have specific requirements in the core. CLS 101 (3 credits) is required of all new first year students with less than 24 credits, and CLS 102 (1 credit) is required of all transfer students with 24 credits or more from another institution.
