Incomplete Grades

Students may petition their instructor after the 12th week of a semester usually for extenuating circumstances beyond the control of the student (i.e., prolonged illness, jury duty, family emergency, etc.). If permission is granted, the instructor will submit a grade of "I" at the conclusion of the semester/session. The work must be completed within six (6) weeks from the last day of the semester in which the "I" grade is issued. If the work is not completed, a grade of "F" will be noted on the student record. The Registrar may approve a request for an extension beyond the six-week period.
