The following feedback is from the students who have completed MAAPP.

What I enjoyed most about the program was:

• I liked being able to get familiar with the campus and meeting new people.

• I really liked the way the instructors showed that they care for our education.

• being here all week early and knowing I'm ahead of the game.

Do you feel the MAAPP week improved your skills in reading, writing and technology?

• Yes, I do think MAAPP has helped in all of our classes and I now have a head start on the incoming freshmen.

• Yes. College is the step above high school so I no longer write or read like a high schooler.

• Yes, I learned a lot in the program. How to write papers, access sites on the mtaloy page, etc.

How did the upper class mentors assist you during the week? Where they a valuable resource to you?

• They gave me a lot of advice. They were very valuable.

• They helped me a lot with my weak subjects.

• They were extremely helpful whenever we needed them.

• I think it's cool how the mentors helped us and will help next year

• The mentors helped me out so much, I would like to help others the same way they helped me.

• They were there to help me with everything I needed and they were GREAT!

• They helped with every question. They were very helpful.

• I'm really glad I got to attend this program! I feel better prepared and ready for next week.
