Internships during the fall (and spring) semesters are unpaid and can be arranged part time, to accommodate a student's schedule. The application deadline is rolling. PHMC, an agency of Pennsylvania state government, is the official history agency of the Commonwealth, responsible for preserving, documenting, and interpreting the state's history and making this history accessible to the public. PHMC internships are structured educational experiences, designed to provide hands-on experience that complements students' academic work. Interns work closely with PHMC professional staff.
