The RN to BSN program at Mount Aloysius is designed to provide opportunities for graduates from associate degree and diploma programs to achieve a bachelor of science degree in nursing. The purpose of the program is to prepare a nurse-generalist for professional nursing practice. Upon completion of the RN to BSN program, graduates will be prepared to give professional nursing care in a variety of health care settings, apply for master degree level study in nursing, and serve as leaders in society.

The Degree Completion Program is an accelerated, off-campus program. In Altoona, courses in the program are offered one night per week for five weeks in the Fall and Spring semesters. There are three five-week sessions in each semester. Summer courses in the program run for five weeks. There are two summer sessions. At Memorial Medical Center, courses in the program are are offered one time per week for seven weeks, with two courses offered in each of the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.
