Whether you are preparing to teach your first accelerated class through CLL or a seasoned educator with years of experience teaching adult students, this seminar will be time well spent. At this meeting, you'll have a chance to meet all of our CLL staff. CLL instructors who are adjunct faculty will also receive a copy of our revised Adjunct Faculty Guide. Everyone in attendance will have the chance to hone their skills as facilitators of adult student learning. After a brief plenary session, we will split into two workshops that will focus on enhancing the skill sets you need to be more successful in the classroom.
Below is our tentative itinerary for this important seminar:

9:00 a.m. Plenary Session: Introduction of staff; review of essentials of new Adjunct Faculty Handbook
10:00 a.m. Break
10:15 a.m. Workshop A: The Ins and Outs of Adult Learners.
Designed for faculty who have taught two or fewer classes through CLL.
OR
Workshop B: Advanced Uses of Technology in the Adult Classroom.
Designed for faculty who have taught three or more classes through CLL.
12:00 p.m. Lunch served
12:30 p.m. Session ends
