We offer three professional tutors (Cara Tomallo, Nursing and the sciences; Anne Volk, math, religion, psychology, and test anxiety; and Dr. Chris Burlingame, writing and study skills), a team of peer tutors, a peer writing center, and Student Learning Leaders (SLLs).

Due to the College’s response to COVID-19, some of these services may look different; however, they will all be offered in some capacity this semester. We ask that students be patient while we get everybody trained to accommodate their needs with the ever-changing circumstances.

Watch this video on scheduling an appointment and/or review these instructions for how to schedule an appointment.

Students are also encouraged to stop into the Learning Commons to meet with us or to email us directly with any questions.

Welcome back to campus! We can’t wait to be a part of your success!

Student Learning Leaders

Student Learning Leaders is a method of collaborative learning support where a student who has completed the class will attend your class, take notes, read homework assignments and then hold regular review sessions designed to help you become a better student.

Please check Canvas for information from your faculty member and Student Learning Leader as well as for any changes to dates and times for sessions.
