The General Studies curriculum beings with a broad core of instruction in the humanities, behavioral/social sciences, and natural sciences. The courses provide students with a well-rounded academic experience and give them much flexibility in designing their personalized programs.
Students in this major complete the core requirements and have three options. They may design a curriculum to focus on preparation for a particular occupation or entrance into a baccalaureate program. They may design a program that develops the skills in math, science, and technology, or they can focus on the behavioral and social sciences. All students in this program must complete, if required, the Educational Enrichment courses successfully. For further information and approval of course of study, students should see their advisor.
