Kim

Kimberly Asonevich is an Assistant Professor of Business and Information Technology and Internship Coordinator at Mount Aloysius College. Professor Asonevich holds an AA from Potomac State College of West Virginia University, a BS from Frostburg State University in English with a minor in Women’s Studies, and an MBA from Frostburg State. She also holds a Certificate in Human Resource Management from Cornell University and is currently completing her Doctorate of Business Administration with a minor in Marketing from Northcentral University in Prescott Arizona. She has over 26 years of business management experience, including owning her own small business and serving as executive director for a number of non-profit and government contract organizations. She also has private sector corporation experience.

Professor Asonevich has most recently taught courses in Human Resource Management, Human Resource Planning and Development, Organizational Behavior, Customer Relationship Management, and Marketing. Her areas of research interest include Small Business Development and Start-up, Organizational Culture and Diversity, Family and Work Balance, Changing Workforce, Effective Leadership, Improved Quality of Work Life for Employees and Managers, Customer Relationship Management and Technology, Improving Customer Satisfaction and Employee Training, and Effectiveness of Social Media Marketing. Professor Asonevich presented her research “Creating Small Business Growth Opportunities through Big Box Mistakes” during an interactive roundtable discussion at the United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship during the January 2012 conference in New Orleans, LA.

She is a member of the American Marketing Association, Cambria Somerset Human Resources Association and United States Association of Small Business and Entrepreneurship.

Business AdministrationThe Business Administration program at Mount Aloysius College is dedicated to developing the next generation of business men and women. The average class size on campus is 18 students with a 14:1 student to faculty ratio. We offer numerous leadership opportunities through the “Students in Free Enterprise Organization” (SIFE). Highlights of the Business program include:

  • The Business Administration program provides graduates with the tools to become financial professionals. Many of our alumni have started their own companies and businesses throughout the country.
  • The undergraduate program offers specific concentrations in Health Care Administration, Human Resources, Management and Marketing/Entrepreneurship.
  • Many of our graduates stay at Mount Aloysius for their graduate/MBA degree after completing their Baccalaureate studies. Our comprehensive Masters Degree program will allow you to complete your MBA in just 5 years.
  • The graduate/ MBA program offers specific concentrations in Health Care Administration, Accounting and Contract Management.
