Kimberly Asonevich is an Assistant Professor of Business and Information Technology and Internship Coordinator at Mount Aloysius College. Professor Asonevich holds an AA from Potomac State College of West Virginia University, a BS from Frostburg State University in English with a minor in Women’s Studies, and an MBA from Frostburg State. She also holds a Certificate in Human Resource Management from Cornell University and is currently completing her Doctorate of Business Administration with a minor in Marketing from Northcentral University in Prescott Arizona. She has over 26 years of business management experience, including owning her own small business and serving as executive director for a number of non-profit and government contract organizations. She also has private sector corporation experience.
Professor Asonevich has most recently taught courses in Human Resource Management, Human Resource Planning and Development, Organizational Behavior, Customer Relationship Management, and Marketing. Her areas of research interest include Small Business Development and Start-up, Organizational Culture and Diversity, Family and Work Balance, Changing Workforce, Effective Leadership, Improved Quality of Work Life for Employees and Managers, Customer Relationship Management and Technology, Improving Customer Satisfaction and Employee Training, and Effectiveness of Social Media Marketing. Professor Asonevich presented her research “Creating Small Business Growth Opportunities through Big Box Mistakes” during an interactive roundtable discussion at the United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship during the January 2012 conference in New Orleans, LA.
She is a member of the American Marketing Association, Cambria Somerset Human Resources Association and United States Association of Small Business and Entrepreneurship.
