Admission Requirements — Bachelor’s and Associate’s Degree
All prospective students interested in off-campus degree programs must submit the following materials to the Center for Lifelong Learning Mount Aloysius College, 7373 Admiral Peary Highway,Cresson, PA 16630, (814) 886-6406:
- Application for admission with non-refundable $30 fee; payable once;
- Evidence of completion (or anticipated completion) of study at an approved secondary school (or GED diploma);
- Official college transcript if transferring from another college.
- SAT or ACT college board scores. Taking the college placement test does not exempt a student from submitting the SAT or ACT scores. College board scores must be received prior to matriculation.
*Note: College board scores are not required of an applicant who has graduated five years prior to date of application or of an applicant to a certificate program.
a. In addition, RN to BSN applicants must provide evidence of completion of an associate’s degree earned at a regionally-accredited college or diploma in nursing from an approved school of nursing, with a minimum 2.0 cumulative quality point average;
b. College or nursing school transcript.
- In addition, applicants for this degree must submit, health forms including health history, physical exam and immunization record, are obtained from the Health Services Offices. Completed health forms are returned to the Director of Health Services and kept confidential. Health forms are required of all students prior to the start of classes.
- Three letters of recommendation.
Students who have previously attended college will be accepted as degree candidates if they fulfill the requirements for entering freshman. An official transcript for each college or university attended must be submitted along with a course description for each class the student may wish to have considered for transfer to Mount Aloysius College.
