Mount Aloysius Service Trips

A strong focus on academics will always be a top priority at Mount Aloysius. However, the College community also strongly emphasizes the importance of the spiritual, cultural, social and personal growth of each and every student. Over the course of the 2008-2009 academic year, faculty, staff and students ventured on three service learning trips that impacted communities near and far.

Approximately 400 students received their degrees at the 69th Annual Commencement ceremony in May.

Advancing Technologies

Much has changed in the field of radiology since Wilhelm Roentgen’s discovery of the X-Ray in 1895. Over the years, technology has been invented and improved, the majority within the past decade. The medical imaging program at Mount Aloysius College has also expanded to include specializations and concentrations, multiple locations and cutting-edge equipment.

It was a breakthrough year for the Mount Aloysius College baseball and softball teams, and certainly a year to remember for their respective coaches.

A Message from the President

On August 24, 2009 Mount Aloysius College began its 70th academic year, welcoming more than 500 new students! During the weekend prior to the first day of classes, energetic teams of student affairs and campus ministry staff, faculty and student leaders introduced new first-year students to Mountie culture, life and traditions.
