Join us for the day in our Nation's Capital - Washington DC

Once we arrive in our Nation's Capital, the day is yours to enjoy as you wish.  Walk through the beautiful cherry blossoms, tour the city, visit the monuments, and don't forget the famous Smithsonian Museums! 

- The "Newseum"is a must-see.  This six-level, interactive museum traces the history of news reporting, includes a Journalists Memorial, and the largest section of the Berlin Wall outside of Germany. Plus much more!!

- Harman Center for the Arts gives theatre-lovers the opportunity to enjoy classic works and contemporary shows.

- Madame Tussauds' Wax Museum includes a cast of characters from Abraham Lincoln to Bill and Hillary Clinton where you can pose for pictures with your favorite celebrity.   

- The Tourmobile Sightseeing Bus will take you on a ride through history.
Get on and off at 25 stops along the National Mall, Monuments, Museums, and Arlington National Cemetery.

Mount Aloysius, Cresson - 5:00 a.m. - Parking Lot 6
Lowe's, Altoona - 5:30 a.m. - Please park in the back of the parking lot

We will be stopping for a quick breakfast at McDonald's in Breezewood, PA.  (on your own).

Arrive:

DC around 11:00 a.m. -   Ronald Reagan Building & International Trade Center, Pennsylvania Avenue & 14^th Street.

Depart:

DC at 8:00 p.m. - Ronald Reagan Building & International Trade Center, Pennsylvania Avenue & 14^th Street.

Refunds:

No refunds after March 29, 2010

*Trip subject to minimum number of participants which will be determined no later than
March 29, 2010. Any cancellation of this trip on the part of the Mount Aloysius Alumni Association will result in a full refund to paid registrants.

All proceeds benefit the Mount Aloysius Alumni Association Scholarship Fund.
