ERIE—Mount Aloysius took over sole possession of first place in the A.M.C.C. with a 99-97 double-overtime win over Penn State-Behrend.

A narrow 34-33 margin separated the teams at halftime, and the remainder of the contest would prove to be more of the same.

A Dameon Turner rebound and put back to start the second overtime allowed Mount Aloysius to gain an advantage that it would not relinquish.

Jeff Stem led Mount Aloysius with a game-high 31 points, including 5-11 from three-point distance. Davis added 24 points, and Turner chipped in 10 points.

6-11 Mount Aloysius freshman Johnathan LeGrande had nine points and 10 boards. He also had a key block in the final overtime period.
