BRADFORD- Led by the scoring duo of Jeff Stem and Demetrius Davis, the Mount Aloysius men's basketball team (11-4, 7-1 AMCC) won their fourth conference game in a row with a 78-63 win over Pitt-Bradford (7-7, 2-5) on Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Mount moves into sole possession of first place.

Stem scored a game-high 25 points, including a 4-for-9 showing from behind the arc, while Davis shot an efficient 7-for-8 from the field and finished with 22 points. Thomas Tanner also finished in double figures off the bench with 10 points and four rebounds.

After a back-and-forth first half in which neither team led by more than four points, the Mount went on a quick 8-1 run to start the second half to lead 51-41 with 18:50 to go. A Stem layup with 11:34 to play kept the advantage at 10, and the lead hovered around double digits for the rest of the contest.

The Mount shot 52.9% from the field, including a 9-for-18 on three-point shots.

Brandon McLester led the way for Pitt-Bradford with 22 points and five rebounds.

The Mount returns to action Monday evening when they travel to Franciscan for an 8 p.m. tipoff.
