Game Notes: Cresson, PA - The Mount Aloysius baseball team was on the wrong end of two masterful pitchers duels as the Mounties lost both games in an AMCC doubleheader to Penn State-Behrend by the score of 1-0 on Sunday afternoon.

The Mountie bats, which had averaged 14 runs scored in their previous four games, fell silent to the arms of Behrend's Ryan Jacobs and Dante DeSantis.

In game one, Jacobs and the Mount's Derrick Capiak went toe-to-toe on the hill. Jacobs threw a perfect game and recorded 12 strikeouts, while Capiak allowed just five hits.

The difference in the game was an RBI single by Behrend's Evan Bukowski in first inning.
Game Date / Time(DH): Sun Apr 14 03:30 PM
Won/Lost(DH): L
Score(DH): 1-0
Game Notes(DH): In game two, neither DeSantis or the Mount's Christopher Nolan allowed a run in the first seven frames before heading into extras.

Behrend finally broke the 0-0 deadlock as John Hlavinka hit a walk-off RBI single.

Recording hits for the Mount in game two were Ian Helsel, Jacob Stumpf and Alexander Martin.

The Mount returns to action on Tuesday with a home doubleheader against Pitt-Greensburg. The time of the first game has been moved up to 12:30 due to impending inclement weather.
