Game Notes: Cresson, PA - After yet another dominating performance by Derrick Capiak in a 2-1 victory, the Mount Aloysius baseball team fell in game two by a score of 7-4 as it split with Pitt-Bradford in AMCC action on Sunday afternoon.

Capiak, who now stands at 7-2 on the season with six complete games, went the distance while allowing just one earned run and striking out ten.

With the score at 2-0 heading into Bradford's last at-bat, the away team had runners on first and second with two outs. Michael Pascarella then singled to left field. Scottie Frisina scored on the hit, but Danny Rinfrette was was thrown out at home to end the game.

The Mount had scored its runs in the bottom of the second on an Ian Helsel double that brought in two.

Game Notes(DH): In game two, Bradford held a slight 3-2 lead heading into the final inning. However, the visitors broke it open with four runs to take a 7-2 advantage.

In their final at-bat, the Mount got two runs back as Luke Szymanski scored on a fielder's choice before Alexander Martin ripped an RBI single. With runners on second and third and two outs, Seth Shaffer struck out while pinch-hitting to end it.

Christopher Nolan was handed the loss in game two. He threw 6.1 innings while allowing three earned runs.

The Mount now stands at 7-5 in conference and 19-10 overall. They will be back in action tomorrow with a non-conference doubleheader at Wilkes University.
