Game Notes: Cresson, PA - The Mount Aloysius baseball team dropped both games in an AMCC doubleheader to Pitt-Greensburg by the scores of 8-2 and 7-1 on Tuesday afternoon. With the losses, the Mount falls to 4-4 in conference play and 16-9 overall on the season.

In game one, both sides hit the scoreboard with two runs in the fourth inning. For the Mount, freshman Connor Bowie lasered a triple to bring in Aaron Kovach and then scored on a passed ball to make it 2-2.

Greensburg took control late, however, as the visitors put up six runs in their late three at-bats to earn the victory.

Cameron Kyle was handed the loss for the Mount as he pitched four innings and allowed three earned runs while striking out four.Offensively, Ian Helsel went 2-for-3 with two doubles and a walk out of the leadoff spot.

Game Notes(DH): In game two, Greensburg blew open a 3-1 game with a four-run showing in the top of the fourth. Sloppy defense by the Mount played a role as the Mounties committed three errors to begin the inning.

The lone highlight for the Mount was a solo home run by Aaron Kovach to lead off the second inning.

Paul Rogerson went the distance on the hill for the Mounties and gave up seven hits and five earned runs.
