Game Notes: Frostburg, MD - In a non-conference doubleheader leading up to their AMCC playoff opener on Saturday, the Mount Aloysius baseball team fell 10-0 and 13-2 to former AMCC foe Frostburg State on Wednesday afternoon.

The Mounties combined for 13 hits in the two games, led by three hits apiece from Ian Helsel and Connor Bowie. However, the visitors had a tough time converting those hits into runs.

Frostburg broke open game one with an eight-run second inning on their way to victory. The Mount got on the board in their next at-bat as Lucas Szymanski knocked a two-run single, but that would be all the Mount would create offensively for the game.

Mount Aloysius will begin the AMCC playoffs on Saturday as the #3 seed. They will host Penn State-Altoona, the #6 seed, with the winner advancing to the championship round that begins on May 9th.
