| Game Notes: | Myrtle Beach, SC - The Mount Aloysius baseball team defeated Ursinus College 11-4 on Thursday afternoon to improve its spring break trip record to 4-3. The Mounties broke open the game in the third with six runs in the bottom of the inning. Patrick Gully knocked an RBI single to get things started, and another highlight was a two-run single courtesy of Cory Dick. Those two hits were the only two of the inning as the Mount benefitted from two Ursinus errors. Dick finished 3-for-4 for the Mount with four RBIs, while Luke Szymanski chipped in with two RBIs. Christopher Nolan earned his second win of the season as he went seven innings on the hill and allowed just two earned runs. |
