Cresson--The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Confernece has announced its All-Conference selections for the 2009 season, and five Mount Aloysius College players were among those honored.

Designated Hitter Matt Cornetti was named to the AMCC First Team.

A freshman from Ebensburg, PA, Cornetti batted .379 on they year and knocked in 25 RBI's.

Sophomore Bryan Nolan was named to the AMCC All-Conference Second Team.  The Mounties shortstop ranked second in the AMCC in stolen bases (30) and fifth in hits (61).

Honorable Mention All-Conference honors went to centerfielder Dan Clark, Catcher Eli Traup, and pitcher Chad Mattis.

Mount Aloysius Coach Kevin Kime was voted AMCC Coach of the Year.

He led the Mounties to a 23-19 record in 2009, and the team's first ever trip to the AMCC playoffs.
