Mount Aloysius College shortstop Brian Nolan was named to Third Team Mid-Atlantic All-Region.

The Junior from Frederick, MD batted .386 on the season and started all 42 games for the Mounties.

Nolan finished the regular season as the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference leader in stolen bases.

He was also named a second team All-Conference selection.

"Brian had a solid season, and being named to the All-Region Team is outstanding accomplishment," Mount Aloysius coach Kevin Kime said.

Nolan helped lead the Mounties to a their first ever AMCC playoff appearance, and a 23-19 record this season.
