PITTSBURGH—Mount Aloysius third baseman Aaron Kovach was named this week’s AMCC Player of the Week.

Kovach batted .416 on the week, including batting a perfect game against Emerson College. The senior had 6 runs on 10 hits, grabbing 9 RBIs, 4 doubles, 1 home-run, and was a perfect 3-3 in stolen base attempts.

His offensive efforts helped the Mounties go 6-5 on the week.

Kovach, a 2009 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area High School, was a Second-Team All-Conference selection last season and help lead Mount Aloysius to the championship game of the conference tournament.
