Game Notes: The Mount Aloysius men's basketball team kept their win streak alive with an impressive win over rival Penn State-Altoona, in front of what proved to be a very loud and hostile Adler Gymnasium.

Penn State-Altoona jumped out to an early 4-0 lead, but Mount Aloysius stormed back to take a 16-4 advantage. The Mounties did not trail at any point in the remainder of the game.

The Lions did pulled within 1 point with :32 seconds remaining in the second half.

With the score 70-69, Harold Clark missed a pair of free throws that would have put the Mounties up by a comfortable margin.

The miss gave Penn State-Altoona one final chance to gain the lead. The Mounties' stingy defense, however, forced a Zach Spits shot and Tyrone Lowery grabbed the rebound.

The Lions immediately fouled Lowery, who sank one of his subsequent free throws to secure the Mount Aloysius win.

The victory makes the Mounties current win streak the longest in the program's history.

Freshman Armond Perez led Mount Aloysius with 17 points. Clark finished with 14 points, while Lowery and Richard McNutt each had 12 points.

Kirk Peters paced Penn State-Altoona with a game-high 22 points.
