| Game Notes: | CRESSON- The Mount Aloysius men's basketball team won their second game in as many days with a 80-74 victory over visiting D'Youville in AMCC action on Sunday afternoon. With the win, the Mounties are now in first place in the conference at 5-1, 9-4 overall. Demetrius Davis paced the Mount with 26 points. Dameon Turner added a double-double of 16 points and 12 rebounds to go with four blocks, while Aaron Patrick provided a much-needed scoring punch off the bench with 15 points on 5-for-6 shooting from the field. Following a 41-38 halftime lead, the Mount broke the game open in the games final minutes. After Kyle Baughman hit two free throws with 1:56 to play, the Mount was ahead by 12 at 75-63. Though D'Youville cut it to four two times in the final minute, Baughman sealed the victory going 4-for-4 from the line in the final thirty seconds. Hilbert was led by 15 points and 13 points from Prince Oliver. The Mounties return to action on Wednesday with an 8 pm tipoff at home against PSU-Altoona. |
