Play-off hopes ended for the Mounties this afternoon as they fall to La Roche College, 73-58.

Mount Aloysius started the game slowly but rebounded late the first-half, making it to half-time down 7 points.

The Mounties picked up where the finished the first half, scoring 10 unanswered points.

The Blue and Grey would see their first lead of the game when Dan Conway connected with a lay-up early in the second half, 35-43.

Although, the Mounties battled hard, the Hawks were too strong down the stretch connecting on 9 shots from behind the arc.

Dan Conway picked up another double-double on the year, while leading the Mounties with 20 points and 12 rebounds.

Brian Collins added 12 points and Tyrone Lowery picked up 9 rebounds for Mount Aloysius.

La Roche was led by Steve Lucas with 20 points and 8 rebounds.

Mount Aloysius will see their next action on Monday, February 16, when they host Lancaster Bible College at 3:00 pm.
