Jeff Stem was named a first-team all-conference selection. Stem ranked second in the conference in scoring and helped lead Mount Aloysius to its highest number of wins since becoming a four-year institution. The senior guard was also ranked first in the league in three-point field goals, and eighth in steals. He set a Mount Aloysius record for three-pointers in a game when he hit 9 against Pitt-Greensburg. Stem was named an A.M.C.C.’s Player of the Week in December. Demetrius Davis garnered second team all-conference recognition. Davis ranked sixth in the A.M.C.C. in scoring and second in three-point field goals. He was also ranked seventh in the three-point field goal percentage. Davis, a senior from Altoona, finished his career with 1,030 points, surpassing former Mount Aloysius standout Dave Murgas for ninth on the college’s all-time scoring list. |
