Head Coach
Marilyn Bearer

Marilyn Bearer is in her fifth year as head coach of the Mounties men's and women's cross country teams, and is the program's first ever coach.

A native of Butler, PA, Bearer is a graduate of Slippery Rock University with a BS in Exercise Science. While there, she was a four-time letter winner in both track and field and cross country. She was a record holder in the 4 x 400 meter relay and a member of the "Rock's" 1995 Division II National Qualifying Cross Country team.

Bearer is a special education teacher, and she also coaches track and field at Northern Cambria High School. She resides in Patton, PA with her husband Don, her two dogs, and her three cats.
