The men's soccer team fought valiantly on Senior Day against conference foe PSU-Behrend on Saturday afternoon. The Mount couldn't get anything going offensively and lost 3-0 to the AMCC conference leader and defending conference champion. Prior to Saturday's contest, Mount Aloysius honored seniors Luca Farina and Curtis Brumbaugh. As has been the case in recent games, the Mount fell into an early 1-0 hole in the third minute as Behrend's Jake Gamble beat the defense back post on a cross. Mount Aloysius settled in defensively afterwards and created a few chances of their own but couldn't find the equalizer before half. Behrend added two more goals at the 53rd and 76th minute marks to increase the lead to 3-0. Freshman midfielder Daniel Oliveira had a couple of chances in the second half but couldn't connect from distance. Oliveira and freshman attacker Nathan Bain led the Mount with two shots apiece. Goalie Jamie Greenwood stopped nine shots in 83 minutes between the posts.
