Game Notes: Bradford, PA - The Mount Aloysius softball team split a conference doubleheader on the road against Pitt-Bradford on Sunday afternoon. After taking the opener 3-0, the Mount dropped game two 5-4.

In game one, the Mount's Kelsey Ickes was in control throughout on the rubber as the sophomore allowed just one hit while striking out six Bradford hitters.

Offensively, Jalisa Westover drove home two with a single to right center in the third inning. Lindsy Sammarco made it 3-0 with an RBI single in the fifth.

Game Notes(DH): In game two, the Mount held a 2-0 lead before Pitt-Bradford evened it up at 2-2 in the fourth. The Mounties again regained the lead in the sixth when senior Meagan Thomas posted an RBI double to right center to make it 3-2.

Pitt-Bradford, however, responded with three runs in their next at-bat to take a 5-3 lead.

In its final at-bat, Westover singled home Sammarco to cut the deficit to one. Westover advanced to second, but Bradford's Jenifer Anthony got Morgan Paynter to fly out to left to end the game.

The Mounties are now 3-3 in conference play (15-5 overall) and will host Franciscan on Wednesday afternoon.
