Carl Teeter took over the reins of the Lady Mounties softball program in 2008. In 2009, he was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC), Co-Coach of the Year. For the past two seasons, Teeter guided the Lady Mounties to an AMCC regular season championship. In 2011, the Lady Mounties finished in second place in the AMCC championship tournament.
Entering the 2012 season, Teeter is just four wins shy of his 100th career victory.
Teeter was a former standout athlete at Greater Johnstown High School, where he was a four-year letter winner in varsity baseball. He also played for Alberters in the Johnstown Junior League. Teeter is still an active player on the local organized softball scene.
He is a firm believer in fundamentals, and believes: "That if the fundamentals are there...then the rest of the skills come more easily."
Teeter resides in nearby Johnstown, PA with his wife Claudine and daughters Alexandria and Gabrielle. He is also employed as an electrician for the Greater Johnstown School District.
