| Game Notes: | CRESSON--Mount Aloysius jumped out to an early 20-3 lead, en route to a 74-52 win over Chatham University. The Lady Mounties scored early and often in the first half, while holding Chatham to just 25 percent. Mount Aloysius led 35-17 at the break. Chatham was able to cut the Lady Mounties lead to single digits with 14:07 to play in the game. But a pair of Olivia Rupp free throws sparked a Mount Aloysius run that would allow the lead to grow to as many as 25 points. Becky Bard led Mount Aloysius with 17 points. Rupp added 15, and Lindsy Sammarco contributed 14 points and 11 rebounds. Emily Schmidts scored a game-high 21 points in the losing effort. |
