|Game Notes:||CRESSON- The Mount Aloysius women's basketball team couldn't complete a furious comeback attempt in the second half and fell 73-64 to Pitt-Bradford in AMCC action on Saturday afternoon.
Down 39-20 at halftime and 50-33 with 10:51 to play, the Mount embarked on a 19-5 run over a four and a half minute stretch. The run was capped by two Becky Bard free throws with 6:07 to go to make it a 55-52 ballgame. Bradford responded with a 10-3 run of its own and held on down the stretch.
Bard and Teddi Burkett each recorded 18 points for the Mount, and Burkett added ten rebounds. Lindsy Sammarco had 14 points, six boards, six assists and four steals to help keep the Mount in it throughout.
Bradford's Allison Osborne registered a game-high 19 points to lead the visitors.
With two games remaining in the regular season, the Mounties have already clinched a playoff spot for the upcoming AMCC conference tournament.
