Mount Aloysius battled back to knock off La Roche College, 63-59.

The Lady Mounties got off to a fast start and went into half-time ahead by 7 points.

In the second half, La Roche began chipping away at the Blue and Grey lead.

The Lady Hawks took the lead on a Chantelle Jennings 3-pointer with 4:53 left in the game, 56-54.

The lead would not last for La Roche as Amber Severa connected with a long field goal for Mount Aloysius, 57-56.

La Roche tied the game twice with only minutes remaining, but the Lady Mounties were too strong at the end picking up their 6th win of the year.

Kaylee Keagy led the Lady Mounties with 27 points and 11 rebounds in one of her best performances of the year.

Carlie Frick added 13 points and 11 rebounds while recording another double-double for Mount Aloysius.

Emily McKenna chipped in 10 points but was more instrumental in distributing the ball with 5 assists for the Lady Mounties.

La Roche was led by Jaquaylla Kessler with 15 points and Chantelle Jennings with 12 points.

The Lady Mounties will see their next action on Monday, February 16, when the host Lancaster Bible College at 1:00 pm.
