BRIAN GENNETT
 

06-07 WB Gennett HeadshotBrian Gennett assumed the Lady Mounties head coaching responsibilities at the start of the 2006-07 season.

He had previously spent two seasons as an assistant coach on the Mounties' men's basketball staff.

When Gennett joined the Mount Aloysius men's basketball program in 2004, he brought 24 years of coaching experience with him.  Over that time, Gennett had coaching stints at several area high schools, including head varsity boys' coach at Windber High School, head varsity girls' coach at his alma mater of Chestnut Ridge High School, and most recently, head varsity girls' coach at Shanksville High School.

Gennett's passion for the game of basketball and fervor for teaching, make him an asset to the rebuilding of the Mount Aloysius women's basketball program.

Along with his wife Ricki, and daughters Nikki and Jaime, Gennett resides in Davidsville, PA.

National Honor Society Inducts New Members 04-11-2008
Mount Aloysius College recently held the annual Phi Theta Kappa and Delta Epsilon Sigma induction ceremony. A total of 21 students were inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa honor society and 38 students were inducted into the Delta Epsilon Sigma honor society.

Students to Participate in Service Learning Exposition 04-11-2008
On Tuesday, April 15, 2008 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in Academic Hall, Mount Aloysius College students will take part in a Service Learning Exposition to educate fellow students, faculty and staff about recent service learning projects they participated in.
Josip Mocnik, Library Director at Mount Aloysius, Earns Ph.D. in History 04-01-2008
Dr. Josip Mocnik, Library Director at Mount Aloysius College, will be awarded his Ph.D. in History from Bowling Green State University in May 2008. Dr. Mocnik’s goal is to be more engaged in teaching and he plans to teach courses on the history of American foreign relations and the history of Eastern Europe.
"Take a Kid to the Game" Day set for Jan 27th 01-23-2007
The Student Athlete Advisory Committee will welcome the area's youth to the annual "Take a Kid to the Game" basketball games.
