| Game Notes: | Medaille 2, Mount Aloysius 0 In an AMCC conference contest on Saturday afternoon, the Mount Aloysius women's soccer team traveled to Buffalo to take on Medaille. The Mounties came out strong with senior Lara Appiah and freshman striker Megan Parker creating a few scoring chances early on. However, the Mount were victim to two goals late in the first half and couldn't respond as they fell 2-0 on the road. Parker attempted 3 shots and put two on goal, while sophomore midfielder Liz Josephson's scoring chance six minutes into the second half was stopped by Medaille keeper Denay O'Connor. Goalie Lauren Challingsworth turned away four shots for the Mount. |
