| Game Notes: | PSU-Behrend 3, Mount Aloysius 2 In another close conference contest, the Mount Aloysius women's soccer team fell to Penn State-Behrend 3-2 in overtime on Saturday afternoon on Senior Day. Prior to the game, Mount Aloysius honored its six departing players- Tonya Bibby, Emily Burget, Katelyn Shull, Lara Appiah, Pam Pride and Nicole Schweinsberg. After the ceremony, the Mounties put forth their second consecutive spirited effort following a 2-1 victory over Penn State-Altoona. Behrend got on the board first in the 14th minute as Abbie Schuster deposited a cross into the back of the net to give the visitors a 1-0 lead. However, the Mount would respond with a goal from freshman forward Megan Parker 31 minutes into play. Parker won a loose ball at the top of the box, spun and struck a low volley in the bottom of the net to tie things up at 1-1 heading into the break. The Mount found their first lead of the day five minutes into the second half on a gorgeous lofted goal by Stephanie Oaks off of a pass from Katelyn Shull. Three minutes later, Mount Aloysius was whistled for a controversial foul in the box and Behrend knotted it up at 2-2. The Mount defense stood tall for the remainder of the second half and limited any Nittany Lion opportunities. Three minutes into overtime, however, Behrend's Julia Schroeck nailed the game winner. Freshman goalie Lauren Challingsworth was solid once again with nine saves on the day.
