Elizabeth Josephson hit a PK goal to cut the deficit to 2-1, but the Mount Aloysius women's soccer team couldn't complete the comeback as they lost 3-1 to Chatham on Thursday afternoon. After defeating Valley Forge 2-0 on Saturday, the Mounties aimed to make it two in a row against Chatham on the road. Facing a 2-0 hole 58 minutes into the game, Mount Aloysius was awarded a penalty kick, which Josephson knocked home. However, Chatham came right back and scored a goal of their own. They then held on to the 3-1 win. Josephson led all Mounties with 5 shot attempts, while senior Katelyn Shull had 3 shots. Lauren Challingsworth stopped 10 shots between the posts for the Mounties. |
