PITTSBURGH—Mount Aloysius senior Lauren Oldham was named the AMCC women’s volleyball player of the week.

Oldham, a graduate of Bishop Carroll High School, set the standard in multiple statistical categories for the Mounties last week.  She drove the attack with 6.4 assists per set, while also averaging 2.1 kills.  Defensively, she contributed 4.1 digs per set, along with 8 blocks.

Oldham is the team’s setter.  She is also biology major with a 3.1 grade point average, and a 2011-12 AMCC all-academic team selection
