Perkins Support Services

Perkins Support Services are designed to provide support and educational enrichment to those enrolled in Associate or Diploma Degree programs of study. These services addresses the need of students who are

  1. economically disadvantaged, including foster children
  2. individuals with disabilities
  3. single parents
  4. displaced homemakers
  5. those with limited English proficiency
  6. individuals preparing for nontraditional fields.

Individual Counseling

Eligible students who may be experiencing financial, academic, or social difficulties may visit the Coordinator to discuss available resources and will receive guidance to ensure a successful college experience.

Career Placement

As a member of the Career Services Department, we are here to provide assistance with internships, resume & cover letter writing, interviewing skills, job search skills, professional etiquette, and much more.

The Perkins Grant is committed to strengthening the academic and vocational skills of Mount Aloysius College students. To further enhance students' educational experiences, the following professionals provide both individual and group tutoring sessions:

Computer Technology

Laptop computers are available at the circulation desk in the library for loan to students who may not have access to a personal computer. Academic Hall, Room 212 is also equipped with computers for students to use as needed.

Laptop computers are available at the circulation desk in the Library for loan to students whom may not have access to a personal computer. These laptops are purchased and maintained through the Perkins Grant funds.
