Breaks

All residence halls are closed for Fall Break, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring Break and Easter break. As a general rule, no resident will be permitted to remain in the residence halls during scheduled hall closings. Any persons having difficulty in finding a place to stay during breaks should notify the Residence Life Office at least seven (7) days in advance so assistance with placement can be made.
By arrangement, housing is provided for athletes and other students with academic or curricular requirements during vacation periods. Transportation to and from the Altoona Train/Bus station, only, will be provided by the Office of Student Activities for the above outlined break periods. This transportation will be on a set schedule, published by the Office of Student Activities. To take advantage of this service students must align their travel plans with the published shuttle schedule from campus to Altoona and must notify the Director of Student Activities of their desire to participate no later than 72 hours in advance of departure.
