Commuters make up a large, diverse segment of the College community; therefore, the goal of the Student Affairs Staff is to provide resources, services and programs that enhance the experience of all commuters.
Commuter students now have the opportunity to become involved in college life to the full extent gaining leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as team playing ability. We hope you will become involved today! Contact the Office of Student Activities located in the upper level of the Cosgrave Student Center for more information.
Commuters are welcome to use Cosgrave Center Dining Hall for all meals. Menus and prices are posted outside the entrance. A weekly ticket may be purchased in the dining hall. Commuter block meal plans are also available in increments of 50 and 30 blocks per semester. Meal blocks can be used during any meal in the dining hall. Commuters may also take advantage of Gonzaga’s MAC Shack, also located in the Cosgrave Student Center. Cash or Mountie Money is accepted at the MAC Shack.
Commuters may spend up to five (5) nights per month with a resident without charge. An overnight guest form must be completed. These are available on the College website or from your RA. The written request must be submitted to the Resident Assistant on duty prior to 10:00 p.m. on the night of the visit to officially register. The resident’s roommate must agree to have the guest and their automobile must be registered with the Safety & Security Department and properly parked in the resident parking lot.
Vending machines are located throughout the campus. Refunds may be obtained by contacting the Controller’s Office located in the Main Building, Room 124.

Cosgrave Fitness Center
The Cosgrave Fitness Center offers a cardiovascular room, nautilus weight machine room and an all-purpose aerobic/dance room with shower and lockable locker facilities.

Additional study and lounge areas in both the lower and the upper level of Cosgrave Center are available for student use when no other College functions are being held.
The Office of Student Activities will host meetings to gather commuter student insight and ideas to improve commuter student life on campus. Please watch for the announcements and come share your opinions.
