Stacy SchenkStacy Schenk, Financial Aid Director

As director, Stacy oversees the entire Financial Aid Office at Mount Aloysius College. She packages over 1,000 full-time students on the basis of eligibility and funding availability. Stacy keeps a running record of each student's academic progress and notifies all students who are not in compliance. Stacy completes numerous federal and state reports that are required each year, including the PHEAA State Grant Roster and the annual FISAP report. She is also responsible for keeping apprised of all current regulations set forth by the federal and state government and does so by attending seminars and conferences throughout the year as well as reading the manuals, reports, and updates that are sent.

Linda GastonLinda Gaston, Assistant Director

As assistant director, Linda is responsible for completing all tasks assigned to her by the director. Linda coordinates the federal work-study program at the college including processing all required paperwork for the program and notifying both students and supervisors of placement and hours awarded. Linda is also is responsible for processing all Pell grants and requesting all grants from the Department of Education. Linda is also responsible for packaging all part-time students, processing summer financial aid each year, and ensuring that all students eligible for grants and loans are awarded based on the accurate number of credits taken. Linda processes all special consideration paperwork and submits it to the federal processor for re-calculation and also acts as a liaison for students with lenders, servicing centers, etc. if problems arise. In addition, Linda serves as one of the supervisors/proctors of the ACT testing on campus.

Tina GluntTina M. Glunt, Student Aid Counselor

As student aid counselor, Tina is responsible for counseling students and parents on all aspects of financial aid. She counsels students and parents by phone, in person, and during visit center appointments. Tina also participates in Financial Aid Nights at local high schools and Financial Aid Nights held at the college. Along with counseling on financial aid, Tina is responsible for compiling and publishing many of the publications in the Financial Aid Office. Tina conducts Federal Stafford Loan exit interviews for graduating students and exit interview paperwork for those students who withdraw from the college. Questions with regard to loan repayment options, estimated monthly payments and consolidation issues are her specialty. Tina assists the director in any projects on which she needs assistance.

Michelle ElliottMichelle Elliott, Student Aid Specialist

As Student Aid Specialist, Michelle is responsible for administering both the Federal Perkins Loan and Nursing Student Loan programs. She processes all new Nursing and Perkins loan promissory notes along with all deferments and cancellations for both types of these loans. Michelle maintains all collection activities for the College relating to the Nursing and Perkins Loans. She also completes the final verification process of government selected ISIR's. She assists the Financial Aid Director with the PHEAA State Grant roster, various statistical reports and generates many of the reports used to process aid in office.

Susan, Hoberney, Financial Aid Secretary

As Secretary, Susan is responsible for the everyday operations of the front desk in the Financial Aid Office. She serves as receptionist for the office and will be the first person you see as you enter. Susan assists with answering phones and emails and is responsible for assisting students and parents when they visit the office. Susan works as the office liason between students and parents in requesting all missing and required paperwork that may be needed for a student's file. Susan also assists the director with various projects throughout the year.
