| Kristopher Hansen of Johnstown, and a junior biology major, was offered a 2008 Undergraduate Research Summer Internship at Pittsburgh Tissue Engineering Initiative (PTEI). Hansen will be working in the lab of Dr. Patricia A. Hebda, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Otolaryngology and Pathology Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. The 10-week internship runs from Monday, June 2, 2008 to Friday, August 8, 2008. |

| Annual Mercy Presidential Scholarship Dinner Held at Mount Aloysius College |

| Mount Aloysius College recognized twenty-three Mercy Presidential Scholars and their families on Saturday, March 29, 2008 at the Annual Mercy Presidential Scholarship Dinner in the Cosgrave Student Center. This year’s Presidential Scholars came from Connecticut, Maryland, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia. The criterion to qualify for this prestigious scholarship includes a 3.3 to 4.0 GPA and a minimum combined Math and Critical Reading SAT score of 1150. |

| Mount Aloysius College recently held the annual Phi Theta Kappa and Delta Epsilon Sigma induction ceremony. A total of 21 students were inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa honor society and 38 students were inducted into the Delta Epsilon Sigma honor society. |
